Today (Friday 27th July) the Scottish LGBTI Police Association launched the official video containing highlights of the UK & Ireland LGBTI Police Conference 2018 held at the Scottish Police College, Tulliallan between 22-24th June.

In addition to the video, the Association has also produced a conference report.

Commenting on the launch and the conference, Alan Sneddon, General Secretary stated:

“I am incredibly proud of what I consider to be a landmark achievement and watershed for the Association in Scotland. We have evolved over 28 years because the issues and challenges do likewise.”

“When I became involved with the Association 20 years ago, things were very different. If someone had asked me then, would there be a UK & Ireland LGBTI Police conference at the very centre and heart of policing in Scotland, Tulliallan, I’d probably have laughed!"

“To create a garden rich in colour and diversity takes a lot of time, care, effort and a considerable amount of weeding. It also takes a lot of work to keep it that way and improve it. As LGBTI gardeners, we are very much up for the challenge today and for what lies ahead.”
