West Lothian held its 4th Pride event this year again in Livingston. We were delighted to attend again this year and support the parade and community fair.

Three of our Board members joined local officers from Police Scotland and BTP as well as Police Scotland Youth Volunteers. Congratulations to everyone who took part. The local community really appreciated your support and engagement.

Our stall was exceptionally busy throughout the day including local MSP Angela Constance who took time out to have a chat.

Commenting on the event, Alan Sneddon (General Secretary) said:

"I thoroughly enjoy participating in West Lothian Pride. You get a real feeling of community and the volunteers and organisers do an amazing job.

With so many Pride events happening across Scotland, I know I and my fellow committee members would love to attend each and every one. Of course we do so in our own time and for the majority of our committee, who are operational police officers and staff working shifts, we simply can't attend them all.

We look forward to supporting more Pride events in future as and when we can."
